I took photos of my thrifted pieces by the pond today and brought the dogs along with me. Sometimes when we walk the dogs down by the pond the cats tag along, and today Salem followed me down. This post is pretty image heavy and a lot of these photos seem to be of kitteh, so I apologise in advance.

Yet more clothes hanging up outside. Hope you’re not getting bored of this theme! All pieces are vintage besides the pink blouse which is originally from H&M. I wouldn’t usually go for something so pink, but it’s sheerness, peter pan collar and thoughts of wearing it with layered with lots of nude won me over. The cream blouse is silk and I can’t wait to wear it with those black high-waisted shorts.

I can’t imagine I’ll ever get over peter pan collars.

Black suede 70s (?) platforms.

This was an exciting find. I came across a whole basket of old bridal head wear and probably let out an audible gasp. Unfortunately most of the pieces were pretty tacky, but this one is perfect, at least to me. It’s pretty big and looks more like a flower crown than a floral headband when it’s on, but I love it.

Kitty oversees all my photography, it’s quality control.
I also came home with a beautiful vintage Cacheral jacket, but I dropped it off at the dry cleaners today so pictures of that will have to wait.

Couldn’t leave the pup out and just photograph the cat. Sorry, no more pet photos after today, I promise! Unless that is, I manage to get a good photograph of our ever elusive poodle, who usually won’t stay still long enough to have her photo taken. I might have to post that. But then done! Maybe. Anyway, this is Millie (but I usually call her Mimi because she’s so darn cute).

I had no intentions of taking photographs of myself, but then changed my mind last minute. Think I need to start packing a hairbrush in my camera case though.
Lugging all my things back from the pond I was thinking about how nice it would be to have some sort of assistant to help me with taking photos, or even better, be in the photographs! I’m getting a bit tired of seeing myself in them. Need to figure out a cunning plan to trap friends over the summer.

I love the last kitty photo, its like something from a fairytale. I too let out a gasp when I saw the floral headband, its beautiful on you!
You are so fortunate with your charity shop finds, where are you from?
"I can't imagine I'll ever get over peter pan collars."
Once a peter pan collar girl, you're forever bound to them. How could one ever tire of them? Button up blouses with lovely lacy collars are just dreamy.
